Questions? Answers.
Is Masterbook free to use?
Yes. Free is designed for most student & indie projects and includes all 6 collaborative apps. Every tier includes all features, unlimited projects, episodes, and collaborators. Resource limits are shown in the comparison above.
Which apps and platforms are included?
The bundle includes Production Shot Lists, Script Breakdowns, Cast & Crew Lists, Production Calendars, Shooting Schedules, and Production Call Sheets. It covers Apple, Android, and web.
What is the difference between Free, Plus, and Pro?
All three tiers include the same features. Plus increases the per-project resource limits, and Pro provides unlimited scenes, shots, contacts, shoot days, and calendar events for larger & TV projects. Plus is $7.99/mo and Pro is $24.99/mo per account.
Are prices per app, per project, or per account?
Paid prices are per account and cover all 6 apps across every platform. Limits apply separately to each project.
Do plans auto-renew?
Monthly plans auto-renew until canceled. The pay-as-you-go option is a one-month pass that does not auto-renew. Buy another pass whenever you need it.
Do I need a paid plan to collaborate?
No. You can join any project on any tier, including Free. When editing a project, your tier's limits apply to adding scenes, shots, contacts, shoot days, and calendar events, based on the project's current usage. These are the same limits shown in the comparison above.
What happens to existing projects?
Existing projects will be grandfathered in.
Can nonprofit and charitable organizations request free access?
Eligible nonprofit and charitable organizations can request free access by emailing support@masterbook.io.
